Fillers have been gaining a lot of interest within the beauty industry in the last few years. However, a lot of people I treat don’t realise just how versatile and effective they can be. Fillers can quickly and easily correct and restore natural beauty lost through under-proportioned features like chins, lips and cheeks; reverse the signs of ageing such as smokers lines and nasolabial folds, and even reduce scars. A wide range of issues for which surgery was previously the only option.

A small chin, or a chin that is not in line with the lips from a side profile (see below) can look imbalanced. Dealing with this can be restorative of a clients’ looks and confidence, which is why it’s one of my favourite treatments that I offer.

The before and after photos below show a recent client of mine I treated at No.56 Aesthetics clinic in Stratford-upon-Avon. A patented filler containing hyaluronic acid (found naturally in the skin and connective tissues) has been used to reprofile the chin and achieve a more pleasing and proportionate appearance, which the client was delighted with.

A lot of clients I meet are understandably concerned about fillers due to negative coverage in the media of celebrities going too far, and also of botched DIY home treatments. However, under the professional guidance and experience of a trained and practising doctor, a natural look can be restored through the safe and careful use of fillers that can provide a really positive experience, giving them the confidence in their looks they deserve.

If you’d like to find out more about these and the many other natural and restorative beauty treatments I offer just book in for a free (no obligation) consultation by contacting me directly or calling No.56 clinic which is conveniently located right in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. I’d be delighted to meet you and see how I can help you.

Acne is a condition that affects around 95% of people in the UK at some point in their life and for a small minority it can leave long-term facial scarring which can prolong the distressing and confidence-damaging effects of the condition well into adulthood. The good news is that treatments are available to address the two main issues: scarring indentations, and pigmentation of the skin. Restoring your face back to its original beauty can have a huge impact on self-confidence.

I offer a range of treatments for acne scarring from my clinic bases at You-Nique Aesthetics in Stratford-on-Avon and at Dynamic Regenerative Medicine in Henley-on-Arden. For scarring a filler treatment can often be used to level up the skin and restore its smoothness, while for skin pigmentation I offer a range of prescription and non-prescription topical treatments from Obagi Medical that are proven to be some of the most effective on the market.

For a free no-obligation consultation with Dr. Helen get in touch and your journey towards smoother, younger and healthier looking skin could closer than you think.

It's been a busy month here at Dr. Helen Facial Aesthetics. Recently I joined other aesthetics professionals for a masterclass on lip fillers led by Dr Lee Walker at the Royal College of Medicine in London. It was a fantastic day to connect with other professionals and learn about and apply some of the most innovative techniques designed to reduce swelling and bruising after the injections. Dr. Walker is one of the country's leading aesthetics practitioners and the founder and managing director of BCity Clinics in Liverpool. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and is a nationally-renowned innovator and speaker in facial aesthetics.

The beauty of this innovative new technique is in reducing the short-term impacts of the treatment, giving more pleasing and immediate benefits to the patient who will see clear and obvious impacts of the filler in more voluminous and fuller lips; all without the common but temporary side-effects that go with it. Ultimately a much more satisfying experience for the client.
